| MQM, ANP seek military operation in Karachi |
|
Senators from the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) and Awami National Party (ANP) took to the floor of the Senate demanding a military operation in Karachi. ANP Senator, Shahi Syed said people of Pakhtun ethnicity were being killed in the city, while MQM Senator Nasreen Jalil said people who spoke Urdu and other languages were also being killed in the Karachi.
