| Newly-elected senators including Sirajul Haq to take oath |
|
Today 48 newly-elected members of the senate including Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Pakistan , Siraj ul Haq will take oath as Senators. The first session of the new senate will commence from today. As a representative of the president of Pakistan, Senator Ishaq Dar will administer oath to the newly-elected senators and the elections of the new chairman of the senate will be conducted under his supervision and he will also administer oath to the new chairman senate, Raza Rabbani who will be elected unopposed in the second sitting of the session.
