| Arrest warrants issued for PPP leaders Gilani & Amin Fah |
|
An anti-corruption court issued non-bailable warrants for the arrest of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders Yousuf Raza Gilani and Makhdoom Amin Fahim. Further, the judge ordered authorities to arrest the two PPP leaders by 10 September and present them before the court. The order was issued after the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) presented a final chargesheet with 12 new cases registered against the PPP leaders before the court.
