| Pak Would Defend Saudi Territory, But Not Join Coalition |

Despite Pakistan's assertion that it will defend Saudi Arabia's territorial integrity militarily, it still may not provide any troops to the Saudi-announced Islamic counterterrorism military coalition. During a visit to Pakistan by Saudi Deputy Crown Prince and Defense Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Pakistani Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif asserted that any threat to Saudi Arabia’s territorial integrity would be answered by a strong response.
