| Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to launch countrywide protest |

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announced it would go for a countrywide protest on 6th February 2016 against the recent government decisions, including privatization and an increase in gas and electricity prices. The party says it is going to be the first nationwide protest on anything other than the electoral rigging. The decision was taken after a meeting which was presided over by the PTI chairman Imran Khan at his Bani Gala residence.
