A petition was filed in the Sindh High Court (SHC), seeking action against Pakistani Twenty20 captain Shahid Afridi for his controversial statements in India. The petition, filed by Amir Advocate, pleaded that the court order Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to initiate action against Shahid Afridi for his interview in India.
