Pak Won 1st test match at Lords against Eng

The first test match amongst Pakistan and England of 4-match arrangement has finished in four days and now Pakistan is driving the test match arrangement 1-0 in the wake of overcoming England by 75 runs. The Pakistan v England test match was played at Lord's cricket stadium.

In the wake of winning the hurl, Pakistan batted first and scored 339 runs. Chief Misbah ul Haq scored a splendid century (114) while he was all around upheld by Asad Shafiq (73), M Hafiz (40) and Younis Khan (33). Woakes remained the top wicket taker from England side as he took 6 wickets while Broad took 3 and Ball took 1 wicket. In answer, England could just score 272 runs and Pakistan led the pack of 67 runs. A Cook (81), J Root (48) and C Woakes (35) stayed top scorers from England.

In second innings, Pakistan could just figure out how to score 215 runs and gave the objective of 283 hurries to England. Asad Shafiq (49), Sarfraz Ahmed (45) and Yasir Shah (30) stayed top scorers for Pakistan. Woakes again stayed best bowler for England as he took 5 wickets in the innings and 11 wickets in the match while Broad took 3 and Moeen Ali took 2 wickets. In the last innings, England were knocked down some pins out for only 207 runs and Pakistan won the match by 75 runs. Bairstow, Balance and Vince scored 40+ runs each. Yasir Shah took 10 wickets in the match and 4 wickets in the innings. Raht Ali took 3 starting wickets while M Amir took 2 and Wahab Riaz took 1 wicket. Yasir Shah was given man of the match recompense for his 10 wickets.
