PM Nawaz Sharif elected PML-N president unopposed
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been elected as the president of PML-N unopposed. The intra party elections of PML-N were held here in Islamabad. Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif had recommended the name of Nawaz Sharif for the party president. Sartaj Aziz who is the Prime Minister’s advisor on foreign affairs and security has been appointed as the senior vice president of the party. Sardar Sikander Hayat from Azad Kashmir has also been elected at the party’s senior vice president. Raja Zafar-ul-Haq has been appointed as the PML-N chairman.
