PM Nawaz participates in Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW) Conference
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has urged the religious scholars to play their role for elimination of root causes of extremism from the society. He was addressing the National Seerat Conference in Lahore. The title of the moot is ‘Interfaith Harmony in the Light of Islamic Teachings and Life of Holy Prophet Muhammad [Peace be Upon Him]. Nawaz Sharif said Islam is the religion of peace and tolerance and it is regrettable that certain elements distorted this very image by spreading anarchy and bloodshed.
