| BJP and Congress go all out to woo Dalits |
|
On the birth anniversary of Dr. B R Ambedkar, the BJP and the Congress were seen competing in Rajasthan with each other to woo the Dalits. On the eve of Ambedkar Jayanti, the Congress attacked the BJP by inviting its vice-president Rahul Gandhi in a Dalit convention at Jaipur. Responding to this, the BJP organised a series of events and tried to outwit the Congress. The Left called this love for Dalits an eyewash and motivated by vote bank politics.
