| BJP wants a saffron politician as the President of India |
|
After coming to power with an absolute majority in the Lok Sabha in 2014, the BJP is setting its eyes on creating history by installing a saffron politician as the President of India in 2017. A top BJP source with knowledge of the matter said that " It has begun calculations for the presidential polls as the party has its best shot at getting a person of its own choice to the top position ".
