| COAS commends successful completion of Shawal operation |
|
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif visited the Pak-Afghan border area alongside North Waziristan Agency (NWA), while he also hailed the troops for clearing Shawal of all terrorists. According to a statement of ISPR, the Army Chief was briefed in detail by the formation commander about progress of Operation Zarb-e-Azb and future plans to clear the remaining pockets of terrorists in Shawal Area.
