| COAS Raheel Sharif called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif |
|
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The meeting continued for more than one hour during which the leaders exchanged views on the situation at the eastern and western borders of the country and internal and external security situation. The army chief gave a detailed briefing to PM Nawaz Sharif on operation Zarb-e-Azb and the land offensive in North Waziristan.
