| Deadly clashes between lawyers & police in Daska |
|
Clashes between police and lawyers turned deadly in Daska when police opened fire at the lawyers, killing 2 lawyers. Outraged lawyers set out to protest torched DSP’s house, TMA and AC Zulfiqar Bon. Chief Justice Lahore High Court also took action on the incident. Chief Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Siraj ul Haq condemned the Daska incident.
