| Government decides to award COAS Raheel field Marshal rank |
|
The federal government has decided to decorate Chief Of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif with the rank of " Field Marshal " for his services in recognition to his meritorious services in the war against terrorism. The rank may be awarded to Army Chief during the official ceremony of Independence Day.
