| IHC dismisses plea to elevate Gen Raheel as field marshal |
|
The Islamabad High Court turned down a write petition seeking directions for the federal government to elevate Army Chief General Raheel Sharif to the rank of field marshal. Justice Aamer Farooq of the Islamabad High Court announced the verdict which he had reserved earlier in this matter.
