| Imran Khan terms PML-N as Punjab's MQM |
|
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan termed the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party as ‘Punjab’s MQM’, alleging that the police are harbouring criminals. Talking to the media, PTI chairman demanded army and Rangers’ deployment at sensitive polling stations while expressing reservations over the local body elections. He threatened to surround Inspector General (IG) office for lack of arrest of those who killed PTI workers in Lahore.
