| PM Nawaz Sharif's criticism on NAB challenged in LHC |
|
Prime Minster Nawaz Sharif’s criticism on National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was challenged in the Lahore High Court (LHC). The petition submitted by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) lawyer Gohar Nawaz Sindhu adopted the stance that Prime Minister Nawaz’s statement related to NAB is tantamount to putting pressure on the organization. The plea states that NAB is an independent institute and is not a subordinate to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
