| Raheel urges agencies to play a role in countering terrorism |
|
Army Chief General Raheel Sharif emphasised the need for intelligence agencies to play a more proactive and coordinated role for an effective counter-terrorism campaign in order to curtail hostile moves to destabilise Pakistan. General Raheel said this during his visit to Pakistan's spy agency's headquarters, where he was briefed by Director General ISI Lieutenant General Rizwan Akhtar about the internal and external security situation of the country and the ongoing counter terrorism operations.
