| Spread the word about schemes, PM Modi tells BJP MPs |
|
Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked BJP members of Parliament to spread the word about the government’s development schemes. He was addressing the weekly Parliamentary party meeting of the BJP that takes place when Parliament is in session. In particular, he mentioned the ongoing rural electrification drive, the Mudra scheme and increased LPG coverage. Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, which gave the party a stunning Lok Sabha tally of 71 MPs out of its 80 seats, are due next year.
